The first image is the photo straight out of camera, and the second is the final edited version.

At first glance, I almost deleted this shot because I didn’t think it was usable.

But photography doesn’t end when the shutter clicks.

Editing is an essential part of the creative process. It allows photographers to enhance light, refine color, and bring out the mood and details that were present all along. With a little time and vision, sometimes you discover a hidden gem.

This before-and-after is a reminder that great images aren’t always obvious in camera—they’re often revealed in the editing process.
