Happy Mother’s Day! 💐✨ Long Post, but there's a treat at the end I promise!
Today feels extra special for a lot of reasons. Not only am I blessed to be the mama of my grown 26-year-old son and my sweet (almost) 6-year-old daughter (yep… a casual little 20 year age gap 😅)… but this month also marks 13 YEARS of U Paint & Party!™ Over the years as a woman/ business owner/ mother I’ve had to pivot, adapt, navigate the pandemic, overcome heartbreak, manage health emergencies, found joy, felt grief, and rode the wave of all the chaos that comes with running a business while managing, well... LIFE.
But through all of it… art stayed. Creativity is my safe space. My connection to myself and my connection to YOU. After years of hugs goodbye at the end of paint classes, I realized I didn’t want the connection to end when class ended.
So last year I planted a little seed of a dream. 🌱 I created Art Done FUN!™ — a creative online space where we could keep painting together, laughing together, encouraging each other, and escaping the stress of life for a little while, and somehow… that little seed is growing!
Now we have LIVE Zoom paint classes, virtual paint-alongs, creative chats, Backstage Pass access to real U Paint & Party events from home, deeper art lessons inspired by my art school years, and this genuinely wonderful creative community I’m so thankful for.
And beyond the WHAT of this membership there's more importantly the WHY- U, or rather YOU! I truly love creating with you, laughing with you, helping people rediscover their creativity and confidence again while creating safe spaces for creative chaos coordinators from all walks of life.
Your support and encouragement over these 13 years have meant more to me than you know. Today, whatever Mother’s Day means for you—whether you’re raising babies, fur babies, dreams, businesses, or simply caring deeply for the people around you…
