Over 2,000 festival-goers made the inaugural GuitarTown Music Festival a great success on Saturday, the 13th. With live music from six original bands playing from noon to 8, it was the perfect day to celebrate Les Paul's birthday and encourage the next generation of players. The vendor village offered creative items and experiences. The City of Waukesha deserves this level of attention for its music and innovative roots. It was an honor to bring this event home. Thank you!

Happy 111th Birthday to the ultimate "Wizard of Waukesha," Les Paul! The man who revolutionized the electric guitar and multi-track recording changed the music industry forever, and we are celebrating his legacy in a huge way this week!

TONIGHT (Tuesday, June 9th):
We are kicking things off from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at MUSIC6S in New Berlin (15427 W. National Ave). Come out for a great night of live music from The Weary World, Awake the Echoes, and Kitty Soft Paw. Admission is free, it’s completely family-friendly, and they are hosting a community instrument drive—so bring your old gear to donate and support music programs for veterans and first responders! We will be LIVE on the The 414 Podcast 6:30 to 7:30 on site for this event.

THIS SATURDAY (June 13th):
The party keeps rolling at the inaugural GuitarTown Music Festival! We'll be heading over to the Les Paul Performance Center at Cutler Park in downtown Waukesha to keep the tribute going all day.

Live Music: An incredible lineup of original Wisconsin bands including Violet Wilder, The Racing Pulses, The Last Bees, Spirit Shakers, ValleyKil Band and Bellevue Suite

Awesome Activities: Check out the Instrument Petting Zoo (where anyone can try out a guitar) provided by White House of Music. Take a Heritage Bus Tour of Les Paul's historic hometown spots provided by Les Paul Foundation and Paulie's Pub and Eatery. grab a bite from the local food and beverage by Raised Grain Brewing Company.
