Someone buy this solid race Mini!

Selling my 1967 MKII Cooper S race car - $15,000 US

Specifications:
Log Book: WCMA (Western Canada Motorsport Association)
Body in good solid condition. Has a Saskatchewan title.
Engine is a thick fl**ge S block 40 over, 649 grind camshaft, CMW H beam con rods, MKIII Cooper S crankshaft.
Head: modified cylinder head, with modified S rockers. Lightened flywheel and backing plate. Special Tuning SCCR gearbox, Salisbury L*D with Hardy Spicer outputs, Jack Night drop gears with idler bearing kit. 45 DCOE with stub stacks inside K&N filter on Maniflow manifold, LCB, exhaust with muffler. Sparco sprint seat new in 2014. 8 gallon Fuel safe cell (2014). Holley fuel pump and regulator. Fletcher aluminum rad and gear reduction starter. Gaz front shocks and original Koni adjustable rear shocks, adjustable front tie bars, rose jointed lower control arms, new belts and window net. Car has working headlights and tail lights and is licensed to drive on the road. Still has headliner and vinyl in A pillars and S ashtray in dash. Boot board brackets and right hand tank mounts still in car.

Brief history from the owner I purchased the car from:
It was bought new in Toronto, then taken to Gimli Manitoba and raced there briefly. He then sent it to Wessex race prep in England and converted to dry suspension, and new prepped engine. The car still has the original CASC body tag 4/003 which is from the Prairie region, and the fourth tag issued. Apparently, it was the first race car ever on the newly created Gimli race track in 1973! It was both circuit and ice raced. Sold to someone in Saskatchewan (he does not remember who). Purchased by doctor in the 80's it was also ice raced and did solo events. It supposedly won a region solo title in the mid 80's.

I purchased this Mini about 7 years ago, and then rebuilt it for vintage racing and the Can-Am challenge in 2014. This is a great starter race car and could be converted back to a street car if desired.
