Anyone else stress way more over an installed piece vs an independent piece of furniture etc?

Clamp wall update!

Found some really great sales and coupons recently and got a big charge of new clamps. That necessitated some new French cleat holders for said clamps and remaking some to be more efficient, as well as some clamp wall Tetris.
I have learned once again the importance of-
“a place for everything and everything in it’s place”
I try to put these things off in favor of progressing customer work but find in the long run how detrimental it is to the work flow to constantly be moving or tripping over new items in the shop and that I gain efficiency and a bit of peace by just diving in and making a home for them.

I just want Joe with Mostly Oak to be proud of me and my constant sourcing😅

Today was physically, the largest score to date!
New England has tons of history and as a woodworker, sometimes I get to work directly with little pieces of that history. There’s no shortage of old timber framed barns and buildings across the northeast. Unfortunately they all can’t last forever. For one reason or another, there’s a steady stream of them coming down.

This is sad but also a really cool opportunity to repurpose these pieces into something that can live on in another home for many years to come!

What would you like to see made from something like this?
