Merry (white) Christmas to all!!! A fresh 3-5 inches overnight makes it the snowiest white Christmas in Pittsburgh in 85 years. Casa de Irene looks quite festive in all of the holiday dressings. For all of you in the Carolinas, I'm sending the white stuff your way 😜.

12+ years and 298 events ago, I started my DJ business with absolutely no delusions of grandeur. I expected to perform at some weddings and small parties and would in no way ever become famous.

Even when the TV production, Army Wives, called and asked for entertainment for their season cast and crew wrap party two years straight, I thought it was just a blip on the radar. But then the movie production of Dear John (starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfreid) called and asked for entertainment for their movie cast and crew wrap party, I thought wow maybe things are changing.

But I never ever expected the call for event 299 that would launch me towards the precipice of the DJ world’s Mount Everest in gigs…yes, you guessed it…The Our Lady of Grace (OLG) Friday Fish Fry!!!

Thank you to all my family, friends, fans, and clients for helping me reach the BIG TIME!!!

Too funny...my The Price Is Right episode airs on Thurs, Jan 30 and Pittsburgh Dad episode airs on Fri, Jan 31. Drew addressed me in the audience during my taping and said he met PD at a taping a few weeks earlier. (Drew had first asked me where I was from and I said Pittsburgh, PA.) He kept calling it "yinzer" speak and was telling the audience what is was. I subtly tried to correct Drew and mentioned "Pittsburghese" is really what it's called. But "yinzer" is close.

Talk to younz later. Don't drive dahntahn if it's too slippy aht. Your car may end up in a crick. Maybe not so bad though as the car would get a good worshing.
