Welcome to Kinet Bet, (your) House of Healing. It's 2022 and let's admit it, these last few few years have not been the easiest...okay, they've been hard! We've collectively been experiencing mental, physical and emotional exhaustion. Individually, each of us have experienced so much loss of: loved....

We've been told working hard, always achieving and excelling is important but the reality is, HEALING is a vibe!
Healing isn’t linear. It’ll take you in all directions; the goal is to get to our truest selves by breaking the walls of pain, expectations and false ideas.
We got this!
When was the last time you reviewed your beliefs? When did you do a belief audit? Does what you follow still align with who you are today or are you holding on to old definitions with your new self?
Redefine strength to mean that you’re overcoming the need to be in a state of doing and focus on just being - just sit. Stop. Take a break.
We got this!
It’s been too long, Beteseb!! Join us this morning on as we bring our የምስጋና ሰአት / Gratitude & Mindfulness Hour.
Let’s practice being in a state of gratitude while giving and receiving love freely.
Join us!
Understanding that we are more than our thoughts, actions, behaviors is so important.
So if we aren’t any of those things, what are we?!!?
We are ourselves (I am me.)
Knowing that difference allows us to accept criticism, grow, adopt and heal with freedom.
We got this!
Keep moving forward!!!!
Remember that you’re doing this for YOU!
When we’re in alignment with our authentic selves, we heal and the world heals too.
We got this!!
Prayers are powerful!
If you pray for it, be ready to accept it.
Hold on, it’s going to be a bumpy ride but the final destination is going to be marvelous!
If we ignore it, we can’t feel and when we can’t feel it, we can’t heal from it.
It’s going to hurt, face it anyway.
It’s going to a lot, feel it anyway.
At the end, you’ll heal from it.
We got this! 💕
Peace is a state of mind and creating the environment to allow it to set root is important.

When we’re in an 𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 state, we need to
☞ hold space for ourselves by letting us feel our feelings without any expectations of what that looks like.
☞ cry, move, sit = let the emotion express itself the best way it knows how.
Once we’ve emoted, we will then regulate ourselves and now our mind can think 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 - we can finally look at things from different angels to help us understand the situation.

T̲h̲i̲n̲g̲s̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲n̲o̲t̲e̲:̲
➺ we can’t expect ourselves to think clearly when we’re being emotional
➺ “decisions” made during moments of high emotions are 𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴
➺ conscience and rational decisions will be made once we’ve regulated ourselves.
➺ understanding what caused us to have those emotions will go a long way in making decisions that are in alignment with our true needs.
➺ emotions are great guides for what we believe on the subconscious level - learning to lean in on them is necessary for growth and alignment.
We got this! ♥
In that order!
Our brain can either be rational or emotional- not both at the same time.
Emote: express/feel your feelings. Give yourself time and space to do this.
Self-regulate: the step necessary to help you transition. Start bringing yourself to your normal. Your medium.
Think: once you’ve let out the emotions and you’re back to yourself, you can rationally process whatever you need to to better understand yourself.
It’s important to know these steps so you don’t expect so much from yourself you cannot achieve. If your brain is supposed to do one thing and you expect it to do another, you will be disappointed and may even feel like you’re failing. But you’re not failing. It’s doing exactly what it’s meant to. Just hang in there and emote, regulate then think.
Sometimes when it rains, it pours but please remember, it’s a season.
✨Be rooted in prayer.
✨Cry and emote - what you don’t let out, eats at you on the inside.
✨Stay and operate in love for yourself and others even in the toughest of times.
You got this and of course just like every season, it will pass.
Let’s be brave enough to seek and be the light we want to see.
thank you for being a light for many.

Before the day is over, here are some suggestions for new year resolutions.
What are some of your resolutions?
Happy new year!
May this year be one where we grow and recognize that we can compromise without sacrificing ourselves or our values.
Sending you love and light. 🥰

Happy Ethiopian New Year! Love you all!
Dance is healing!
Come and dance with me.
On Wellness Wednesdays, we use dance to move our bodies and have our body create it’s own chemicals to make us feel good!
Eleleleleleleleelelel!!
CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON!
WELCOME, our family!
The way we talk to ourselves (including the questions we ask ourselves) will determine the trajectory of our journey.
Be kind! Do it with love and ask yourself, “what happened to me” to better understand yourself. That ONE question will help you dig deeper!
You got this!
Exhaustion is real but it’s more than you think. It’s time for us to identify where the exhaustion is coming from - the source will surprise you.
One of the greatest has passed but his music will continue to live forever in all of us.
Thank you for all you’ve done for us, Gash Alemayehu Eshete! May you rest eternally in peace. We love you!
Self-care isn’t just taking care of your skin, it’s also avoiding things and overcoming tough situations - like the ability to decline what doesn’t serve us.
“No” is a full sentence but it may sound incomplete, insincere and just rude but (and take note): IT IS NOT!
You have the right to say no!
You are worth saying no to things that are not in alignment with you.
You can do it! Say it out loud now! NO! Think of that thing you’ve been doing for the sake of doing things and say NO!
Think of all you’ve been handling for the sake of not wanting to disappoint people and say NO!
Remember this note!
Save this note!
Read it when you need it!
You got this!
Love you!
When you notice you’ve been moving nonstop and you’ve been operating in a state of doing, stop. Take three deep breaths and just be in the moment. Look for the details you normally miss. What’s happening in that moment?
Let’s try it with this image. What stood out to you when you saw this post? How did you feel?
Have you gotten your copy yet?!
If you did, thank you so much! Please rate it and share it 😍😍🥰🥰
