*Elsewhere Within* — an exhibition exploring displacement and assimilation by Rosemary Feit Covey and Roya Chadab — is on view at Pars Place through November 29, 2026.

Here are a few moments from our opening reception panel discussion on October 4, with journalist Asieh Namdar and independent curator Mary Welsh Higgins.

A meaningful conversation about art, identity, belonging, and the many ways we carry the places we come from with us.

Part of my “Assimilation” series, which I’ll be exhibiting this October.

A body of work exploring identity, belonging, and the complexities of finding oneself between cultures.

This is a rework of an older painting which I thought was never finished. By the same token, I reworked another painting and that didn’t turn out the way I had perceived . So you never know; a parallel to life. What’s important is to try and not give up.
