Seeing our students step into the spotlight at the Spring Concerts is a powerful reminder of what happens when dedication meets the right support. These moments are built daily in our studios through care, focus, and mentorship.

Thanks to you, we’ve raised $118,000 and are nearly halfway to our goal!

We have just 12 days left before our end-of-season match campaign closes. Your gifts directly support The Washington School of Ballet, funding our dancer-centered curriculum, vital tuition assistance and scholarships, and essential stage experiences.

Through June 30, all contributions are matched dollar-for-dollar up to $250,000 by Board Member Luanne Adams and Murrell Smith. Help us cross the finish line over these next two weeks.

From her love of The Parent Trap and her mom's homemade pickles to the quiet moments behind the scenes, get to know Company Dancer Felecia Baker. 🎬🥒

Felecia’s approach to ballet balances a highly technical understanding of anatomy with a deep appreciation for the community built backstage. Whether she’s shifting her focus to her breathing to calm pre-show nerves or sharing "m***e" gifts with her partners, she keeps her artistic process beautifully grounded.

Tap through the gallery to discover how fitness shapes her movement, the advice she gives to anyone trying something new, and the classic dream role she'd love to bring to life. 👇

A year of classes, corrections, and quiet progress — and then you brought it all to the stage. Classical variations, contemporary works, first-ever bows: two full houses saw exactly what you've been building all year.

And to the parents and families behind every dancer — the rides to class, the bobby pins, the front-row cheers — none of it happens without you. Thank you for showing up for your dancers, week in and week out.

What a way to close out our school year. Whether this was your last performance with us or your very first, that stage belonged to you. 💛

Drop your favorite moment from the weekend in the comments.

The moments we share with you take an entire community to create. Beyond the dancers, it is the music, the choreography, the costuming, the production crews, and your energy in the audience that bring this art to life. It is a shared love for ballet and a drive to build something beautiful for our city.

Gifts from our supporters are what make this collective work possible. Through June 30, every contribution to our end-of-season campaign is being matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $250,000, by Board Member Luanne Adams and Murrell Smith.

Your support right now keeps every part of this art form moving forward. Double your impact at give.washingtonballet.org/match
