8. Considered a "retro" night by many because we always acknowledge our Indiepop heroes every party, we care as much about the new tracks as the old and try to give everything a fair shake. In April of 1991, Chapterhouse released their now classic debut album, "Whirlpool". On Sunday, May 17th, Chapterhouse will perform the album live at Washington, DC's Black Cat DC.

This Saturday, September 6th, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., it's the official Pulp pre-party at Whitlow's at the Wharf, directly next door to The Anthem! It's FREE! We'll be spinning all of your Britpop favorities and we have lots of Pulp goodies to give away, courtesy of the band and Rough Trade.
