This July, Woolly’s Connectivity department invites you to celebrate America’s 250th birthday ALL MONTH LONG!

Taking place at Woolly’s home in the heart of Downtown DC, this dynamic series of free events, We the Woolly: Remixing 250, celebrates the diversity of the Nation’s capital while inviting attendees to collectively envision the DC of the future.

The festival celebrates the diversity, creativity, and resilience of DC and its people with live music, dance, spoken word, circus arts, interdisciplinary performance, community conversations, and family-friendly programming. Through collaborations with local artists and community partners across the DMV, the series reflects Woolly Mammoth’s ongoing commitment to building deeper civic connection through the art.

During this monumental celebration, Woolly Mammoth will serve as a cultural hub for the city, strengthening connections and fostering a more equitable, participatory, and creative society.

Each event will feature free Smartwater and Topo Chico while supplies last, a themed photo booth, giveaways, and other surprises. Be sure to tag , , and for a chance to win a prize for the best photo!

Closing out the A Fine Madness Constellation Events series, What’s the Tea on Q***r Health? invites us into a candid conversation about preserving q***r health, collective care, and what it means to build a future where q***r people are seen, protected, and cared for in full.

Taking place on National HIV Testing Day and presented in partnership with Theater Alliance this special afternoon will be moderated by our very own Connectivity Artist-in-Residence, Sheldon Scott. The conversation will feature Raymond Thomas of AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Kemah Gbolokai of Onyx Therapy Group, Dwight Venson of Whitman-Walker Clinic, and Nina Mesadieu of Us Helping Us, a nurse practitioner with specialty board certification in HIV medicine and broad experience in primary care beyond sexual health.

Join us at Theatre Alliance’s temporary space, which overlooks the Southwest Waterfront, for a community meet and greet, light brunch bites, a mimosa bar, and smaller breakout conversations. The talk begins at 1:15 PM.

Our Miranda Family Fellows (and alumni!) showed up in a big way at the 2026 Summit in NYC this past weekend 🎉

The Summit Showcase featured an excerpt of Pillow Fortress by our New Work & Producing Fellow Aysha Zackria, directed by MFF alum Ynika Yuag, and stage managed by Fe Miranda.

The showcase also included projection design work by Gisela Estrada, as well as a performance by alum Steven Franco.

And a special shoutout to MFF alum Nat Corvosier, who was part of the producing team behind the entire Summit!

We’re so proud to see our fellows and alumni creating, leading, and making an impact across the industry 💛
