The last time we sang this piece, about persevering in tough times, was in 2020 in a virtual concert. We hope you can join us to hear the full song live this weekend at Lutheran Church of the Reformation. http://tickets.capitolhillchorale.org/

Today we had the opportunity to sing for an event supporting Ready, Willing & Working aka the Men in Blue which is a wonderful local program that provides jobs and resources to formerly incarcerated individuals and their families. Unfortunately we had to cancel at the last minute due to the weather but a few extra punctual singers braved the winds to perform a short set.

🎶 Introducing our second-ever Drummond Conducting Fellow, Raymond Rinaldo!

We’re thrilled to announce that Raymond Rinaldo—a singer, conductor, arranger, and pianist with the Arioso Chorale and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C.—was chosen for this year’s Drummond Fellowship. After serving as our accompanist over the past year, we’re delighted to support Raymond as he continues to expand his conducting craft with the Capitol Hill Chorale.

This December, Raymond will take the podium to conduct Praetorius’ Wachet Auf, and next year he’ll lead a full concert—from auditions to performance—as the capstone of his fellowship.

👏 Join us in celebrating Raymond as he begins this exciting new chapter with CHC!

Even though the Nats aren't in the World Series this year we wanted to share a clip of us singing "You Gotta Have Heart" from the classic musical Damn Yankees a few years ago. You can catch the new production of the musical at Arena Stage through November 9th, and you can hear us this December 6th and 7th at Lutheran Church of the Reformation.
