While construction on the arts hub is ongoing, Theater Alliance is grateful to The Wharf for lending us temporary office and rehearsal space this summer - and we’re also grateful that there were plenty of ramps and elevators we could use for the task of transferring our piano.

Arts Hub Partnership Launch Party event recap 🪩✨

, and joined forces last Thursday to celebrate the launch of D.C.’s newest arts hub, coming to Southwest DC this fall.

Together, we share a vision to amplify local art and create a home for creativity in the District. And last week, we came together with community at in Anacostia for dinner, drinks and performances.

Leadership from each organization shared their plans for what’s next for the creative life of our city, and local artists Marvin Wayne Allen II, Wynter Cook, Sophia Early and McKaela Skye Maye wowed the crowd with a stunning cover of ’s “Rise Up.”
