After a week of searching for all the right words, I’m left with just one: gratitude 🤍✨

I am forever grateful to have graced the Miss Black USA Pageant | Beauty Redefined | 📍🌍 stage and had the opportunity to showcase not only who I am, but also what our community can create when we come together.

A very special thank you to my family for loving, supporting, and uplifting me every step of the way. There is no me without all of you. To everyone who spoke words of encouragement, shared my content, showed up for me, or silently rooted me on—thank you. Your support means more than you know.

To my directors and my big sister queens, thank you for being just a call or text away as I navigated my journey to the national stage. Your guidance, love, and support carried me through.

This experience has truly been one of a kind, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. To all 21 of my sister queens, thank you for sharing your love and light throughout the week. You are truly the best sister queens a queen could ask for 👑!

And to our magnificent Miss Black USA 2026, Harmony, congratulations on a title so well deserved and so hard-earned. I am incredibly proud to witness you step into this next chapter, and I can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.

As I begin the completion of my reign, I do so with the mission of Paid in Full at the forefront of my mind: continuing to pave the way for young innovators, revolutionaries, and dreamers to know that their ideas, voices, and visions have a place in this world.

The journey to Miss Black USA is complete, but it is certainly not the end of the mission 🤍👑

Being Black in Virginia, more specifically Hampton, Virginia, is a culture of its own, rooted in deep history.

Tonight, I carry the heritage of the first of our ancestors who were brought to the shores of Fort Monroe. The intellect of Black trailblazers who have made, are making, and will make history as natives of Virginia.

As Miss Black Virginia, USA, competing on the Miss Black USA stage, I tell the untold stories of local black heroes. Continuing a legacy of people who prevail against adversity.

Virginia isn’t just for lovers, it’s for innovators, change-makers, and revolutionaries.

Hello, Yellow!

Yesterday was filled with good food and even better conversation at The Carolina Sea & Soul. It was such a beautiful moment to have connected with Miss Black USA 1996, Dr. Dawn Moss. I’m looking forward to all that this week has to offer 💛

Rooted in Jasmine’s Legacy 💛

Bringing this campaign to a Black woman-owned salon was very intentional. There is no better space for Black women to be vulnerable. This intimate space, curated to foster open discussion, addressed the treatment of Black women in healthcare while they were experiencing one of life’s most challenging yet rewarding experiences. This space also allowed Black men to hear these experiences and learn how best to advocate for Black women who are experiencing maternal health disparities .

But the work didn’t stop there; I also took the time to raise awareness in my community. “The Snuggle is Real” shirts, supplied by Sentara CarePlex Hospital, were distributed to the Blessing Box at 48th and Commerce in Newport News, VA. I did not wait for the people to come to me; I went to them, sharing Jasmine’s legacy through community education.

A very heartfelt thank you to the businesses that helped to make this event such a success:

God's Word Inc.

Having the honor of judging the Miss HBCU Teen Pageant is something I do not take lightly.

We all have the power to inspire, no matter our age. Encouraged by each Queen's performance on stage, I left the pageant feeling immense gratitude not only for the responsibility entrusted to me as a judge, but also for the privilege of having a small role in the greatness every Queen will achieve.

If you haven’t attended a Miss HBCU Teen Pageant, make it your MISSION to do so next year!

Preliminary interviews have officially wrapped, and this is my TRIED and TRUE interview tip ⬇️

I dropped the pen and paper and leaned into my purpose! I spoke to the judges about the growth I’ve made to get here and that I’m giving myself grace as I continue to blossom! Not only am I sowing seeds in my own life, but in the lives of others. Community is at the center of everything I do. To my pageant girlies who are struggling with interviews, take my advice: value PURPOSE over perfection! You never have to prove your worth when you KNOW you are worthy ✨👑
