The family of Herman L Davis, has informed us of his passing and wanted to invite the Detroit Roller Skating community to his Homegoing Services.

Herman Davis was the owner of Northland Skating Rink from 1980 - 2000. Under the ownership of the Davis family Northland was the “spot”, and served as a place for a lot of our fondest memories.

The service will be held at James H. Cole located at 16100 Schaefer in Detroit on this coming Friday, May 3 starting at 1PM.

Please spread the word and make plans to say thank you to a family that helped us all fall in love with roller skating!
