Javier fell in love with a camera at the age of eight in Peru. Now 30 years old, his love for cameras has grown and developed passionately. He began working for a local video studio at 17 years of age. Since that time, he has worked independently and for several production companies…all with unequaled creativity and an artist’s eye. With clients mostly in Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland, he produces and directs commercials, corporate videos, educational television programs, public service announcements (PSAs), news clips, instructional videos and documentaries all around the country.
From his avid connection with video cameras, he discovered another passion for portrait, cultural and fashion photography. He has transferred his unusual international and artistic perspective to still photographs. He currently works with emerging artists, models and actors shooting headshots and commercial photography.

Whether in a studio with a model, or listening to great testimonies from admirable people in every walk of life, I love learning of new cultures and traveling to different destinations.
