We bring decades of experience in preparing couples from diverse backgrounds to celebrate the expression of their love and commitment. We believe that people truly want to build Sensible
Marriages that will be fulfilling and lasting. We work with couples to personalize and create a ceremony reflective of their relationship. We specialize in incorporating diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. We meet with couples at least three times prior to the wedding date, in order to hear their individual stories and elicit values and cultural practices. We can then reflect back to them ways in which we can blend the individual stories to shape their ceremony. Our expertise helps couples create a Sustaining Story for their celebration and future life together. We have legally officiated at hundreds of weddings over the past 30 years and can incorporate a variety of traditions, symbols, readings, vows, and blessings. We would hope to begin this process at least three months before the wedding date.
