Tonight’s performance (September 1st) of Brontë Sister House Party is CANCELLED due to hot weather. The theatre space is too hot for actors and audience members. We want everyone to be comfortable with the temperature—whether they are performing or seeing the show.

About Mari Fluegeman

Mari Fluegeman (they/them) is a playwright and dramaturg based in Maryland. Their play Winter’s Discontent was part of TranScript Productions’ 2026 Technicolor Play Festival. Their trans Joan of Arc play, Jean/ne, received a reading at Theatre Prometheus’ Firecracker Festival. The Glass Closet premiered as part of “321 Plays for Trans Futures.” Mari is a co-producer at the Trans Community Art Project (TCAP) in Baltimore. Mari is dedicated to the creation of new works with marginalized voices—both their own and others’—and strives to create environments where that work is produced kindly, in a way that honors each person involved in the process. They hold a degree in Dramatic Arts and English Literature from Centre College. on Instagram.
