Welcome to our new intern, Falilou! Falilou selected his favorite artwork and wrote about it below:

My favorite piece in the gallery is 𝙃𝙤𝙩/𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙙 by Amy Sabrin. I like the her entire exhibition, 𝙉𝙤 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨, since there are words hidden in the paintings. Finding the hidden words in the pieces is fun and engaging, which makes them interesting to view.

𝙃𝙤𝙩/𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙙 is made up of various shades of green, which clashed with the name of the painting since I thought it would be red and blue for hot and cold. One word is vertical while one is horizontal, and is one of the only paintings with a vertical word. The piece defies expectations with the color and the layout, and that is why I like it.
