Put Garrod and Gundam Double X into U.C. 0093 as Axis begins its descent toward Earth.

For this scenario, Double X retains access to the Satellite System, giving Garrod the Twin Satellite Cannon at full capability.

But overwhelming firepower doesn't automatically solve the problem. Axis is an enormous asteroid already falling toward Earth. Destroying it too late could simply replace one impactor with countless massive fragments.

Garrod doesn't just need enough power to break Axis.

He needs to change its fate before Earth runs out of time.

HOW MUCH OF NARRATIVE’S POWER WAS REALLY ITS OWN?

The Narrative Gundam C-Packs can look far more powerful than its normal specifications suggest, especially after what happens near the end of Gundam Narrative.

But that's exactly why it lands at #10 in A-Tier.

Narrative began as a Psycho-Frame testbed, while the C-Packs added Psycho-Frame components originally intended for the RX-0 series. Its conventional weapons were relatively modest compared with the monsters above it.

Its most extraordinary moments depended heavily on Psycho-Frame phenomena and its interaction with Phenex, rather than representing power Narrative could consistently produce by itself.

That still makes C-Packs exceptionally dangerous, just not another Unicorn.

Where would you rank Narrative without its peak Psycho-Frame moments?

At Side 7, Amuro Ray wasn't supposed to become a soldier. But when the colony came under attack, he found the Federation's RX-78-2 Gundam and climbed inside.

That moment created far more than a new pilot.

Amuro's battles gave the Federation crucial combat experience with mobile suits, while his abilities continued to develop as the war escalated. The Gundam and its combat data also became part of the Federation's growing mobile suit advantage.

But none of that was planned when Amuro first entered the cockpit.

A teenager trying to survive had just stepped into a machine that would help reshape the One Year War.

How different would U.C. history be if Amuro had never gotten inside?

Put CCA-era Amuro Ray into the Gundam Fight, but this time he isn't bringing Nu Gundam with him.

Instead, Amuro becomes a true Gundam Fighter with a Mobile Trace-equipped machine. His Newtype awareness, reactions and years of combat experience remain, but now his Gundam has to follow his own physical movements.

That creates a completely different test for one of U.C.'s greatest pilots.

Amuro can anticipate danger better than most pilots, but Gundam Fighters like Domon built their entire fighting style around martial arts.

What kind of Gundam Fighter would Amuro become?

WHAT MADE CHAR THE STANDARD FOR EVERY RIVAL AFTER HIM?

Char Aznable didn't reach #1 because he had the strongest mobile suit or the most overwhelming individual feat.

He reached it because few antagonist pilots combine his piloting ability, adaptability, longevity and influence.

From the Zaku II and Gelgoog to the Hyaku Shiki and Sazabi, Char remained a major force across different machines, identities and conflicts. His impact also extended far beyond the cockpit, shaping the course of U.C. history and the people around him.

And outside the story, Char became the archetype Gundam repeatedly revisited with later masked rivals.

Master Asia may surpass him in raw physical feats, but #1 is about the complete antagonist pilot.

Who else has a stronger claim to the top spot?

Why build a mobile suit with no legs? Cancer sacrificed the traditional humanoid design for something OZ needed more underwater specialization.

Drop Suletta and Gundam Aerial into the Gundam Fight.

Aerial keeps its GUND Format, Bit Staves and native weapons, but gains no Mobile Trace System, Future Century upgrades or stat equalization.

That gives Suletta a completely different approach from fighters built around translating martial arts directly into their Mobile Fighters. Aerial can attack from multiple directions and use its Bits for both offense and defense, but every opponent brings a new fighting style and increasingly extreme close-combat ability.

How far could Aerial's technology carry Suletta through a tournament built around martial arts?

HOW STRONG WAS MASTER ASIA WITHOUT A GUNDAM?

Master Asia's greatest weapon was never the Master Gundam. It was Master Asia himself.

He was the undefeated champion of the 12th Gundam Fight and Domon's martial arts master, with abilities so extreme that he could confront mobile suits even while fighting on foot.

Put that skill inside the Master Gundam and he becomes an entirely different problem.

That's why he reaches #2. His machine amplifies abilities he already possessed rather than defining them, and even while his health was deteriorating, he remained capable of pushing Domon to his limits.

Only one antagonist pilot ranks above him.

If every pilot lost their mobile suit, who could still compete with Master Asia?

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT 👀

We just got more details about the next Gundam universe.

Director Kenji Kamiyama revealed that Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO will follow humanity's battle against an autonomous interstellar object that arrived from beyond the Solar System, later called the Apocalypse.

And this isn't part of Universal Century or another existing timeline.

Kamiyama confirmed that XARX-ZERO takes place in its own independent timeline, while sharing its world with Gundam Rogue Orbit, which takes place 100 years later.

The anime is currently scheduled for April 2027 in Japan and North America.

How do you feel about Gundam building a new timeline around humanity fighting a threat from beyond the Solar System?

Drop Master Asia and Master Gundam into the Post Disaster era.

He keeps his native machine and martial arts, but gains no Ahab Reactor, Nano-Laminate Armor, or Alaya-Vijnana System.

That puts him in a world where Gundam Frames were built for brutal close combat and pilots like Mikazuki can use Alaya-Vijnana to achieve extraordinary control over their machines.

But Master Asia comes from a universe where martial skill can push a Mobile Fighter far beyond conventional combat.

What happens when the Undefeated of the East meets a world built around fighting up close?
