The 44th Annual West Point Crab Carnival ~ October 2 & 3, 2026 West Point, VA kicks off tonight with:
🚴♀️ Tour de Crab Kids Bike Race hosted by the West Point Combined PTO at 5:00 pm on Main Street. Ages Prek- 5th grade can participate for $5 per entry. Registration is available on-site.
🎪 Carnival rides & games from 5:00 - 9:00 pm from R.T.'s Midway Entertainment in the parking lot between 8th & 7th Street. Requires purchase of game/ride tickets or wristbands.
🎶 Concert with Bart Chucker Band from 6:30 - 9:30 pm!
🎆 Fireworks shoot off at 8:30 pm.

🚧❗🚫 Parking is permitted downtown tonight without a pass. BUT be aware of NO PARKING SIGNS! ❗🚫 🚧
a) It shall be unlawful and constitute a class 3 misdemeanor for any person to drive a motor vehicle (except service vehicles related to the gathering), ride a bicycle, skateboard, moped or similar device within the streets or sidewalks designated for the gathering or festival.
b) It shall be unlawful and constitute a class 3 misdemeanor for any person to possess or bring into such areas a pet, reptile, bird or other animal (except animals that are a part of an exhibition or element of the gathering, and service animals, which shall comply with section 10-5 of the Town Code) such being deemed to cause injury and annoyance and to be dangerous and offensive, with respect to the gathering.
c) No person shall offer the sale of goods, food or beverages on public or private property outside the gathering or street festival premises unless the person has first obtained a business license from the Town of West Point.
