Strength and Stretch with Logan is a balanced, full body fitness class designed to build lean, functional muscle while improving flexibility, mobility, and joint health. This class combines strength training blocks with dynamic stretching and mobility flows to help you move better and feel stronger without bulking up.

The WGH National Honor Society will be hosting a Blood Drive on October 13th from 8:30AM-1:30PM inside the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

The American Red Cross is currently providing a $15 egift card to anyone that donates blood in the month of October! Last year our National Honor Society received a PREMIERE RANKING from their blood drive donations throughout the year and students were awarded $1,500 in scholarships!

Please consider supporting our NHS students by giving blood on October 13th.

We recently welcomed third grade students from across the district to experience a field trip at the SRWC. Students visited stations to work on different skills:

Station 1 - Soccer
Teachers presented students with math expressions, including new multiplication families, which they were recently introduced to. Students dribbled the soccer ball into the goal with the correct answer, earning points for their team!

Station 2 - Letter Writing
Students wrote letters to a local nursing home and worked on specific writing skills such as introducing themselves and providing details about things they like and how the school year is going.

Station 3 - Lunch
Students got to experience the delicious lunch served by the cafeteria staff at WGH!

Station 4 - Tinker Toys
The goal of this station was to build a structure and learn about how you can make it stronger and taller by using old-school Lincoln Logs and Tinker Toys. Students worked in small groups to try different strategies and ideas provided within the group.

Station 5 - Yoga Poses
Students practiced yoga with Ms. Meadows where they worked on different yoga poses, calm breathing, and balance control. This helps students with self-regulation, focus, and calmness as well as an introduction to body movement!

Congratulations to our Attendance HEROs who had the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments at our Tailgate before the game last week.

A HERO is Here, Everyday, Ready, and On Time! During the 25-26 school year, we had 818 students, across grades K-8, obtain "HERO Status" which meant they attended school 95% of the time or greater.

‼ Warren City School District Residents ‼

We are excited to share that the Student Recreation and Wellness Center will reopen to community members beginning on Tuesday, September 8th. Warren City School District residents can access the second floor of the SRWC (for FREE), which features cardio equipment, such as - treadmills, rowing machines, stationary bikes, ellipticals, and stair steppers as well as three lane walking track. Additionally, weight equipment includes the following machines - chest press, over head press, seated leg curl, lat pull down, leg extension, back extension, abdominal crunch. Medicine balls, yoga mats, free weights, and much more are available on the second floor as well.

Community Hours:
Mondays from 3PM-7PM
Tuesdays from 3PM-7PM
Wednesdays from 3PM-7PM
Thursdays from 3PM-7PM
Saturdays from 8AM-NOON
