This evening you can catch us at a rare early performance in the suburb of Roseville at Gonzo!! art Studio. Our buddy Kyle Davis of Against the Grain will be doing a solo set to kick things off. This is a free event, but we will be accepting donations for Gonzo to help him fix up his building. Gonzo has been an outspoken advocate for art in his city, for the preservation of that cities history and for the homeless. This has made him a thorn in the side of the city government. Who recently fined him for peeling paint on his building despite the fact that they told him they would be doing construction along that very wall, refusing to answer when they were going to do that. He could not get started on that project and then find out partway through that they were going to tear out the sidewalk from underneath his scaffolding. It’s also been found that the city of Roseville is holding him to a higher standard than they hold themselves. He’s been doing some investigating and finding peeling paint and other violations on their buildings, the very same violations they are fining him over. He thinks that they should only be given 45 days to fix their issues and we agree. So we’ll be doing a special performance to help raise money and raise awareness in his community. This is a rain or shine event, it will be moved indoors if it’s going to rain.

The studio is at the north west corner of Gratiot and Utica.
