Let me introduce myself - I am the maker of Diamond State Of Mine Bait & Tackle. A beginner, yes I am. However, I have a plentiful list of folks that I am following for guidance and ideas. I truly am a hobbyist, but this hobby has really become more than just a hobby and now it seems to be a passion. The next steps…that is where I am stumbling.

When we are making baits - who are we really making them for? Think about it? As consumers - we purchase what looks nice. I know that from a woman’s perspective - earlier on when I was tagging along with my husband say at Bass Pro Shops - I would always be looking through the bait that was flashy and pretty! It was not because I thought the damn fish would like it! So the debate is on - Pretty or Professional??
