EXILE

Website Contact the establishment

EXILE Exile is an art project inspired by the work of Italian artist Aldo Piromalli and initiated by artist Dora García.

Paying homage to the figure of existential exile artist Aldo Piromalli, EXILE is a situation created by the sending of a (great) number of postal letters to the institution that is hosting at a given moment the project EXILE. These letters are sent by a group of artists and authors invited to contribute in this way to a reflection on the multitude of meanings of the word exile. The project has been presented in the Tel Aviv Museum of Art (Host and Guest exhibition); Rupert, Vilnius, Lithuania; Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Buenos Aires; Galerie PunktØ, Moss, Norway; and Toronto Power Plant, Canada.
