As of 12/31/2021, Pyramid Scheme Productions Incorporated has ceased operations as an S - Corporation (registered in CA), and we are currently in the process of dissolving as business entity. The ending of Pyramid Scheme Productions Inc, as an S-Corporation, is not a negative development, by any means, as the film is no longer in the production phase, with a clear road ahead toward resolution. We are grateful for everyone who has been part of production with the company and are excited for the next chapter as the film moves toward final completion. Recently, it came to my attention that a number of 'professionals' are using my S-Corporation's trademarked logo as a graphic for various endeavors. While I'm sure that some may question my choice for the name of an animation and motion picture company, which has probably raised a few eyebrows, it does not change the legal implications of trademark infringement. My company, Pyramid Scheme Productions Incorporated, produces media, so the unauthorized use of our logo for someone else's media is clearly a violation of my exclusive rights as defined by the USPTO. I appreciate that the logo is appealing enough for someone to steal it for their own use ( ), but that does not make it okay or legal. The company is actively registered with the Secretary of State in CA, since 2009, and the use of the logo, original design, dates to 2010. The experience is both troubling and amusing, yet still needs to stop.
