I had the best time photographing Rogers Orchards & Long View Ciderhouse in + capturing everything that makes this family-run orchard so unique.

This was such an awesome collaboration & exactly the kind of work I love, helping local businesses tell their story through genuine, personality-filled images.

Let’s talk about the “PERFECT” time to post 👀

Honestly? I have to remind myself of this too.

Yes - analytics matter. You can & should ABSOLUTELY track:
✨ Best-performing days
✨ Seasonal engagement shifts
✨ Peak posting hours

BUT… if stressing about the “perfect” posting time is stopping you from posting consistently, or posting at all, it’s time to let that go for now.

A few things to remember:
• Consistency throughout the week will ALWAYS beat that one “perfect” post
• People connect with real, active engagement MORE than polished perfection
• You’ll reach more people by showing up imperfectly than by waiting for the ideal moment

Your audience can’t connect with content they never get to see.

To summarize - post the thing!! Even if it’s not at the “perfect” time. 🤗

Let’s talk May photography!! 🌺 📸 🌻 This time of year is about soaking up alllll the color- blooming flowers, fresh greenery, golden hour & all those seasonal details that change daily as even more of nature comes alive. 🩷 May just always seems to render itself to a special kind of magic behind the camera.

And while I’m always here for vibrant color… mixing in a dash of black & white can completely change the feel of an image in the best way, creating a timeless, emotional, dramatic contrast.

Let’s talk about Saturdays & prioritizing weekend freedom as much as possible. There are definitely 💯 times when you have to work on weekends - we all do, have, & will, whether it’s regularly, seasonally, or around holidays & deadlines.

What really takes the joy out of it though is when all you want is to head to the beach on a sunny day, relax, or be fully present at your kiddo’s ⚾ game, but instead you’re stuck wondering if you’ve reached every customer who might be scrolling social media.

That's one of the reasons I created this business - I REMEMBER that feeling, & I want to help take as much of that weight off your shoulders as possible.
