We had 6 Sale Grad Sidepot horses entered this year in Rapid City.

Kate Peterson and 𝙄𝙢 𝙤𝙣 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙧𝙚 were the only ones to take home a piece of the pie!

They placed 8th in the 2D Royal Crown Futurity Average, taking home $𝟐𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 for their efforts!

What a fun evening at the Polk County Fair! I had an absolute blast capturing all the talented barrel racers and the fearless little mutton busters. There were so many great moments, big smiles, and memories made!

As the evening went on, the sun decided to set a little faster than I would have liked, bringing some low-light challenges. Since there wasn't strobe lighting available in the arena, I did the very best I could to capture the action with the available light. Thank you all for your understanding—I always strive to deliver the best images possible, no matter the conditions.

I hope you all had as much fun at the fair as I did photographing it! Thank you for letting me be a part of such a great event. I hope you enjoy reliving the memories through your photos!

WOW!! Thank you all for sticking with us last night and BIG thank you to the Polk County Fairboard Council for working extremely hard to make the arena as good as they could last night. Barrels and Bustin' was a great success. We did what we could and you all supported us throughout it all. Here are the results. Thank you all! Please let us know if you have any feedback and we hope to see you again soon!

Here’s the arena as it stands. Still pretty wet, hoping to get some sand added before the expos start. If anything, we would move the start time back a half an hour to ensure it gets worked in. Please share with those who need it. Understand everyone’s decision as they make it. Thank you all for your support. Sorry for the late notice

Alright Barrel Racers at Polk Co Fair. I am going to do this for you. We will not start the Open before 7:30pm. I am hoping to start it right at 7:30 We have quite a few mutton busters and looking to be around 20-30 youth. My goal is to have those done by 7:15pm. Open the arena for 10ish minutes. Then run starts at 7:30pm. Hopefully that gets everyone a better time schedule for tomorrow.

Please reach out on late entry inquiries so we can get those going. Please come pay your fees asap, preferably before the event starts. I will have help there so we can be efficient. Please ask any questions if you have them. My cell is 402-415-9391. Right now we have Over $4000 in the Open Payouts!!!! Thank you to the Polk Co Fairboard for adding $2000 to the pot. Not too late to get entered and have a chance to win!!! PLEASE TAG WHO YOU KNOW WILL BE THERE SO THEY GET THIS INFO. I can't tag some barrel races.

Here is the pre entry draw for the Polk County Fair. Please let me know if I missed anything or need any changes. As you can see, not many exbos left. Contact me for late entries. Still taking on site entries but to get an exbo, you must be entered before 4pm day of if there are some left.

Thank you all, this is going to be a great race!! We are going to be paying out almost $4000 in the open as of now, only to grow!!!

Check out the beautiful arena for this Thursday’s run in Osceola. $2000 added. You can enter on site or reach out for a late entry if needed. Draw will be posted this evening for the Pre-entries. We will have panels up in the arena, creating a center entrance and allowing the next five in to the arena. We will rake every five. Wonderful big arena, and this is shaping up to be a yearly awesome barrel race.
