Some commissions I did before the school year ended and I started into full time summer mom mode. Summer is my favorite season but I will miss painting everyday. Im going to try and do some drawing and maybe some water color over the summer if I can find the time. Hope everyone has a safe and fun summer!

16x20 acrylic on canvas. I decided to continue exploring winter scenes and how snow looks at night. I was out on the four-wheeler at my parents' house, and was struck by how stunningly blue everything was. It's crazy how a place that is so comfortable and familiar to me can look so cold and haunting. So, I'm curious, share in the comments what your initial thought or feeling is when you look at this one? Also, fun fact: I only used three colors on this whole piece; can you guess what they are? I did this commissioned peice a while back. This is is Acrylic on canvas and 11x14 inches if I'm remembering correctly. There was a lot of texture and finishes used with this one. Unfortunately in pictures its hard to tell, but super cool effect when looking at it in person.

Here is a commissioned peice is did a few months ago. It is Acrylic on canvas. I have a few more in wings but I haven't posted them as the customers intend to give the paintings as gifts, and I would hate to spoil the suprise ☺️. This one was very fun to do, I really enjoy working from photos and doing more realistic pictures like I did with this one.
