✨ MY STORY. MY WHY. ✨

Meadowhawk Collective is more than a small business. It’s a story of faith, family, restoration, and learning to trust God one step at a time. 🤍

I grew up going to church, especially with my Grandma Jo, but as a teenager and young adult, I slowly drifted away. Life got busy. I worked, chased my own plans, and put God on the back burner.

Then I became a wife and a mom.

During a difficult pregnancy with my son, Gavin, I found myself in the hospital on my 31st birthday praying:

“God, if You save me and my baby, I will start following You like I used to.”

His delivery was traumatic, and I was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome. But through that experience and the last 10 years, God has continued to show me His faithfulness.

He has carried me through the highs and lows, given me courage to take leaps of faith in business, and led our family from Wisconsin to Arizona.

And one of my greatest blessings has been watching Gavin grow in his love for Jesus. ❤️

That journey is a huge part of why Meadowhawk Collective exists.

Even the name is personal:

🌿 Ashley means “ash meadow”
🦅 Gavin means “white hawk”

Together, Meadowhawk is a reminder of the blessings God has woven into our family’s story.

I’m also a firm believer in shopping local and supporting small businesses. After moving and exploring our new community, I noticed something I felt was missing—a place where families could easily find Bibles, Christian books, Bible studies, and faith-based resources.

So I decided to create it.

My collection may be small right now, but the vision is BIG.

🚐 My dream is to one day have a mobile Christian bookstore, bringing Bibles, books, Bible studies, faith-based gifts, and encouragement directly to churches, homeschool communities, markets, and events.

I don’t know exactly where God is leading Meadowhawk Collective.

But I know Who is leading it. ✝️

Today we celebrate two incredible blessings: God’s faithfulness and 250 years of our nation.

As we thank God for the freedoms we enjoy, let’s also remember that the greatest freedom we have is found in Jesus Christ.

📖 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
— Philippians 4:6–7 (NIV)

No matter what our country faces or what you’re walking through personally, prayer is powerful. God hears every request, sees every burden, and remains faithful through every season.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, may we be reminded that true hope is found not in our circumstances, but in Christ alone. Let’s continue to be a light in our communities, love our neighbors well, and boldly share the Gospel.

Today we celebrate 250 years of freedom, sacrifice, and the countless men and women who have helped preserve the blessings we enjoy. As we gather with family and friends, may we never forget that every good gift comes from the Lord.

God bless America, and may we continue to seek His wisdom, walk in His truth, and shine His light for generations to come.

🌅 Tuesday Night Blessing 🌙

As this day comes to a close, take a moment to lay every worry, burden, and unanswered prayer at the feet of Jesus.

No matter what today looked like, remember this truth:

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
— Isaiah 41:10

God is bigger than every challenge you’re facing. He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and never leaves your side.

Tonight, choose peace over panic.
Choose faith over fear.
Choose to trust that God is already working in ways you cannot yet see.

⛰️ Move Mountain Monday ⛰️

What mountain are you asking God to move today?

Maybe it’s fear.
Maybe it’s debt.
Maybe it’s illness.
Maybe it’s broken relationships.
Maybe it’s doubt.

Jesus reminds us that the size of our faith matters more than the size of our obstacle.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed… you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” — Matthew 17:20

As we begin this new week, let’s choose faith over fear, prayer over worry, and trust over doubt.

When God placed Meadowhawk Collective on my heart, it was never just about creating a business.

It was about creating a community.

A place where people can ask questions without judgment.
A place where families can grow deeper in God’s Word.
A place where we encourage one another through life’s victories and valleys.
A place where no one has to walk their faith journey alone.

I don’t have all the answers, but I know the One who does.

Happy Sunday, friends! 🤍

If you’ve been praying and wondering if God hears you, don’t lose heart.

Sometimes the answers don’t come as quickly as we’d like, but that doesn’t mean God isn’t working. He is preparing hearts, opening doors, closing others for our protection, and weaving together a plan that’s greater than we can see.

Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep believing.
Keep walking by faith—even when you can’t yet see the outcome.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Prayer for the Week:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness even when we cannot see what You’re doing. Strengthen our faith to trust Your timing over our own. Give us peace in the waiting, courage to keep moving forward, and hearts that seek You first each day. May this week be filled with opportunities to love others, share Your light, and glorify You in all we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, spiritual fathers, and father figures who lead with love, strength, faith, and sacrifice.

As we honor the incredible dads in our lives, we’re also reminded of the greatest Father of all—our Heavenly Father—who faithfully guides, protects, and loves us every step of the way.
