The SCBWI Winter Conference was an absolutely incredible experience, filled with so much inspiration and information. Thank you to HQ, the wonderful conference faculty, fellow RTs, and everyone who helped make it such a magical time! 🥰 I am so grateful to be a part of this beautifully empathetic and creative community!

After stepping away from social media over this past year, I am eager to reconnect and share all of the fun projects I've been working on and talk about the new hats I've accumulated along the way!

I am so grateful to be a part of the regional SCBWI team, serving as Illustrator Coordinator for the North/Central region of California. 🥰📚🎨 Our region covers as far south as Tulare County, all the way up to the Oregon border, and is filled with so much creativity and talent! And we're surrounded by other fantastic regions, which means there are so many opportunities to connect and create together!

Wishing everyone attending the conference a FABULOUS time. Soak in all the inspiration and enjoy every moment! This quick compilation of pictures just scratches the surface of all the fun we have at SCBWI events! Can't wait to join you all in person soon!

🐝 Hello, friends! 🌼

It's been a minute, and I'm so excited to reconnect with you all! Looking back at 2023 fills my heart with immeasurable gratitude! 💜 From published magazine illustrations, book deals that feel like a dream, teaching classes at a growing number of venues, hosting SCBWI workshops, school and library visits, celebrating a PB Party win, developing an upcoming self-published project, and the launch of Merry's Mobile Art Studio-- it's been a busy year, to say the least!
