Our client removed their old wallpaper and discovered some wallpaper beneath that had been painted over. We scrapped all the high areas, skimmed the uneven areas, sanded and primed the walls, prior to installing the new wallpaper.

The client picked a wallpaper that has some texture which can sometimes help hide minor imperfections on the walls. It's printed on a non-woven backing that will allow easy removal when they're ready to redecorate.

Thibaut weave installation on an accent wall in the primary bedroom. Doggie approved! The client loves it too!

Sometimes it only takes one wall to change a room!

A few weeks back we installed this mural by Wallism for some friends up in Massachusetts. We waited to post the pictures until they had the room put together. It turned out nice, and really changed the feel of the room.

When working at our client's home last week, installing Grasscloth in part of their kitchen, we were able to see the completed bathroom we installed a couple of years ago. I love the artwork they chose. Grasscloth goes well with everything.

We installed this Thibaut Grasscloth in an older home in Norfolk VA. The walls were sand finished with many layers of paint. We primed the walls and the grasscloth covered the texture nicely.

Installation of a Thibaut Wallcovering in a dining room in Virginia Beach VA.
One of our favorite wallpaper manufacturers. They consistently make a quality product. Beautiful designs and good materials.

We installed 2 really beautiful wallpapers last week, made by York Wallcoverings, one of the oldest manufacturers in the US. They've been producing wallpaper for over 130 years. They know what they're doing and they make an excellent product.

There are hundreds of small companies making wallpaper. Many new manufacturers claim to be making "Bespoke wallpaper", made to order, using small batch printing, primarily because they aren't set up to produce larger quantities. Many are also using inferior substrates and inks that aren't colorfast, among other issues. It's also usually more expensive to purchase, not because it's better, but because of small batch printing.

A new client hired us to install wallpaper they bought on Amazon that is actually peel and stick shelf paper, very little glue, and it looked like shelf paper. Don't buy wallpaper sold on Amazon, Etsy, eBay or Facebook Marketplace.

Start by looking at wallpaper books at a local store like Sherwin Williams, Arte Fabrics, Fabric Factory, Calico Corner. You'll see and feel samples of actual wallpaper you're about to invest in. If you can't find what you want and you must look online get a sample before you buy.

Pick a wallpaper made by a company that knows what they're doing. You're going to have this in your home a long time, it's an investment of time and money. Choose wisely.

We never know what we're going to be asked to cover with wallpaper! 😁

We installed this 27 inch wide vinyl wallcovering in the Common Foyer of a Condo in Norfolk. They're getting new carpet and base.

It's going to be a beautiful background to display some of the owners artwork.

We also installed a beautiful faux silk in the kitchen of one of the owners, as well as their bathrooms and their personal entryway.
