Attention fellow artists and loyal followers, I could truly use your help! I’m walking TODAY for this legendary woman, Kim Keene, who became my mentor and truly inspired me to do more with my art, and I could use some sponsors! Any amount helps. Kim was a local artist who founded Paint Pink before she lost her own battle with breast cancer. Paint Pink is a non profit that raises funds for cancer warriors in Hampton roads. 💔 My heart breaks tonight as my sweet friend, my inspiration, and my mentor, Kim Keene of Paint Pink, passed away. In true Kim fashion, she never stopped smiling and making the best out of everything, despite her fate. If it wasn’t for her, I probably wouldn’t have started on this art journey. She helped guide me and showed me, and so many others, how art can truly impact our community. She used art as a weapon of power to fight back against Breast Cancer and to help others fighting the good fight. Her light, her spirit, and her purpose will live forever through her paintings and all those who love her (which is practically all of Virginia, and then some). Rest easy my sweet friend, I will see you again one day 💔
