“Back to the shore, back to before, you took my hand…” 💜🫧🌊
This past weekend marked 1 year since our very first production, Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. & what a memorable year it has been. The lessons learned, ups, downs & in betweens, this show taught so many valuable lessons.
Seeing where everyone is today; the cast, crew, is absolutely remarkable. Watching you all grow is a privilege that educators, teachers, instructors, directors, parents and loved ones receive, when watching children grow into the individuals they are meant to be.
When taking on this role as both a director & new theater company owner, I felt like Ariel walking for the first time; excited and nervous all at once. But, with the trust, support and love from the families, my family, students, staff, crew & community, came this unforgettable production.
The Little Mermaid will forever and ever be stamped on my heart. Simply because, it’s brought me more than my business. It brought connections and relationships to last a lifetime, lessons and experiences that I will carry for every production and educational project I create, bonds that will not be broken, reconnected childhood friendships, and showed me a new perspective of a beloved story. But most importantly, that when you love something so much, you are willing to take a chance on the thing you may fear most.
TLM Cast, Crew & families — thank you will never be enough. It started with you, it was built with you. I adore & love you all & am so proud to have shared last summer together. Here’s to more journeys “apart of this world”. 🧜♀️🐚
Love always,
Miss Brodzik 🫶🏻
