Meet the team at Choice Pressure Washing & Painting!
Hey northwest GA, my name is Reese Pownall and beside me is my father, Vance Pownall. Together, we own and operate Choice Pressure Washing & Painting. Dad handles the bulk of our estimates, and runs our paint crews while I handle the more hands on labor. If you call us, you will talk to me, not an AI robot, and you will meet me or my father on site. We run this business with a hands on technique and we take pride in treating every customer as if they are our only customer.
My father started Choice Pressure Washing, Choice Painting, and Choice Chimney Sweep in the 80’s and always provided for our family. In 2014 when I was a junior in HS, my dad fell 20 feet from a ladder on a paint job and broke his ankles, and legs with extensive damage forever altering his path in life. Through high school I worked in the grocery department at Publix, and cut and bailed hay after school and through the summer. After highschool, I moved out and started working out of town doing construction in multiple states all over the country. At 19, I joined the Marine Corps Reserves. If I wasn’t on orders, I was working in a different state for a month, fly back to do some of the hardest training I’ve ever done, then fly right back to whatever state we were working in. Every job, every dollar earned, and every choice that I made after my dad fell revolved around starting the business back from scratch.
I used every dime I made to be able to afford equipment to become self employed. I worked several jobs to fund my business, and would do my jobs on the weekends. I rebranded, and restarted the business in 2019. My father worked at a land fill in Dallas in the office for 10 years after falling in 2014. April 1, 2024 I hired my dad full time on salary and he quit his job. We are truly family owned and operated. We love what we do, and we love building relationships with our customers. hundreds of customers have trusted us with their properties and continue to do so. We show up on time, do exceptional work, go above and beyond, and treat every property as our own. With a combined 30+ years experience in the trade, our knowledge and professionalism is unmatched.
