🚴♂️💙 Vidalia Rotary Welcomes the Paul Anderson Youth Home! 💙🚴♂️
It was an honor to welcome the staff and young men of the Paul Anderson Youth Home to our Vidalia Rotary meeting. We are so grateful they took the time to share their experiences from Pedal for a Purpose and tell us about the journey behind the miles.
One of the most meaningful parts of our program was hearing directly from each student. They shared what the bike ride meant to them personally, the challenges they faced along the way, and the lessons they learned about perseverance, teamwork, discipline, and pushing forward even when things are difficult. Their stories were powerful reminders that sometimes the greatest journeys are about much more than reaching a destination. ❤️
The Paul Anderson Youth Home in Vidalia is a Christ-centered, licensed and accredited residential program dedicated to helping transform the lives of young men and their families. Their program focuses on spiritual development, education and vocational training, counseling and substance-abuse treatment, physical fitness, work ethic, and emotional and social growth—all with the goal of giving young men an opportunity for recovery, restoration, redemption, and a brighter future.
Founded by Olympic gold medalist Paul Anderson and his wife, Glenda, the Home has been giving young men a second chance for more than six decades.
