Victoria Ballet Theatre is a non-profit
regional ballet company located in Victoria, Texas. Join us this year for an inspiring “season of dance.”

Founded as a non-profit, non-discriminatory 501(c)3 organization, VBT has as its mission involving and enriching Victoria and the surrounding communities through innovative dance and educational programs. VBT is comprised of local dancers age ten through adult who are selected from a yearly audition held each spring. Victoria Ballet Theatre continues to present excellence in dance by training loca

l talent to higher levels of technical and artistic ability, and by collaboration with internationally acclaimed guest artists, choreographers and master teachers. Beginning in 1984, the company staged a full-length production of “Swan Lake” in Riverside Park. Since that first endeavor, Victoria Ballet Theatre has continued to present “The Nutcracker,” an annual holiday tradition, as well as numerous classical and contemporary works. The company’s repertory includes many favorites such as, “The Red Shoes,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Gaite Parisienne,” “Don Quixote Suite,” “The Firebird,” “La Fille Mal Gardee,” and of course “Swan Lake.”
Renowned guest artists, master choreographers, two full-length ballet classics, and victoria’s brightest talents.

✨SUMMER INTENSIVE SPOTLIGHT✨

Senior Company member McKinley Campbell spent five weeks in North Carolina attending the Charlotte Ballet Summer Intensive! Her training included Technique, Pointe, Pas de Deux, Company Repertoire, Contemporary, Repertoire, Musical Theatre, and Conditioning.

When asked about her experience, McKinley shared:

“I loved all of the intensive — from the classes to the teachers and my friendships that I will cherish forever — but I think my favorite moment would be our last pas class because it was just such a fun class and I got to try so many new things.”

Five weeks away from home dedicated to doing what you love is something to be proud of! McKinley, we’re so happy you had an experience filled with wonderful teachers, new challenges, and friendships you’ll carry with you. We are incredibly proud of you and all you accomplished this summer! 🩰✨

Senior Company member Hannah Packard spent two weeks in Pennsylvania attending The Rock School for Dance Ballet Intensive, where her days were filled with Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Partnering, Contemporary, Jazz, and Musical Theatre.

We’re so proud of you, Hannah! Taking on an intensive like this requires hard work, courage, and a whole lot of love for dance. What an accomplishment and a wonderful way to make the most of your summer! 🤍🩰

✨SUMMER INTENSIVE SPOTLIGHT✨

Senior Company member Sophia Packard took her summer training all the way to Lewiston, Maine, where she spent two weeks at the Bates Dance Festival (BDF)!

Sophia’s time at Bates gave her the opportunity to experience a unique mix of movement and artistry through classes in Somatics, Contemporary, Ballet, Street Styles, and Repertory/Dance Theater.

Sophia, we are so proud of you for embracing this incredible opportunity and continuing to broaden your experiences as a dancer. What a special way to spend part of your summer! 🤍🩰
