Album #4 on our list in order from the book is a legend! Louis Prima - The Wildest! Recorded live at The Sahara April 19 & 20 1956. It shows him at his best and singing on it is the great Keely Smith and Saxophonist Sam Butera. This is a must listen for the true SWING sound of the 1940's and 50's!

So album #3 on our list according to 1001 Albums To Hear Before You Die is the 1956 record by The Louvin Brothers - Tragic Songs Of Life. I read the bio on these 2 and Ira Louvin was a terrible drunk and was actually shot by his 3rd wife, Faye. He died in a car crash in 1965 with his 4th wife in the car. He was hit by a drunk driver and he actually had a warrant out for his arrest at the time for DUI. If that doesn't make some dark and twisted country & western music. I am looking forward to this one.
