Wednesday APA 8-Ball action...on 9-ft...against a VERY strong opponent 🔥

Rack 1: I was snooooozing. Deserved to lose the rack.

Rack 2: I at my brain's login screen fat fi*****ng the password 😂 lost the rack with only one ball made on my side. Pissed...but not pi**ed enough...yet.

***Someone wanted to say she was in my head and didn't think I heard it. I responded with "only I get inside my head".***

Rack 3: Opponent breaks dry. I run to the 8 ball. They run a bit. I pot out and take the rack.

Rack 4: 2nd ball break, wet, run most of my side, miss. Opponent RUNS and I'm like ruh roh...chokes 1 before the 8. I run, and play a KEY safe for ball in hand, get on the 8, bad roll over distance and I'm like "pack the car, Janice" 😂😂😂. THEY CHOKE AND I'M BACK IN THERE LIKE SWIMWEAR WITH THE POT OUT AND HILL 😂🫡

Rack 5: I should have lost. Not going to bs anyone reading this. Run down to the 8 practically on both sides, they choke on the 8 and leave me pretty to pot out, take the match, and stop sweating.

Lesson Learned: Start aggressively on both Offense and Defense. Not when someone talks s**t. Additionally, reduce pace on 9ft, which I did upon locking in, in order to increase control.

Strong night. Firm handshakes all around. 🤝🏾

Sigh.....lol 😑. Went 7.25 racks against someone that beats my whole ass in 9-Ball everytime I play him. Closing out racks, I was taking them early or out, but just couldn't amass points.

1/10 this session for The Fleet in regular season. Can't talk about the good without talking about the bad. Summer has been an 8-ball Summer for me, but most will call this sentence an excuse.

I have work to do.

100 APA Matches in 8-Ball since 2021. Not bad for my first 100 matches in the league. Not sure how many more I will play in APA, but each match gets played like my last (even if I am getting dunked on lol).

Close to 100 in 9-ball as well. Def will post that 100 match stat when I reach it (Spoiler: Surprisingly not as good as this!)

Played some bonus 8-Ball Wednesday night after getting schmooooked in 9-ball. Homies are in the hunt and assist them, I did. Played a favorite opponent and very patiently too. I was missing some shots I had no business missing in the first 3 racks. Tightened it UP in Rack 4 and secured the Self W and Team W.

Also was my 100th 8-ball Match since joining APA in 2021!!!

Monday 9-ball was 8 racks of strong play on both sides. I made a few mistakes that cost me but I stayed in it as best as I could. Still not doing anything worth anything in that division this session *sigh*. Fall should look better.

Last night in 8-ball, a singular mistake made in rack one cost me the rack. Rack 2 was lost due to an unlucky off-the-rail that resulted in the early potting of the 8 😑 I got mad and pushed hard, with rack 5 being taken due to an early 8 by my opponent (We evened up on early 8s lol). Didn't want to take the overall that way but it happens 🤷🏾‍♂️ 10/15 in that division.

Nine-ball Two tonight! Need a DubaDub and one next week to wrap up the session! Three weeks out from the USAM Preliminaries 🔥

Somehow...we pulled it off enough to take 2nd last session? Lol!
We were working magic again...I guess? Haha the venue award showed up courtesy of the session winners grabbing it for us(Thanks!).

Equal confusion amongst all of us but, hey, add it to the wall for Branch #20! 😂🤷🏾‍♂️💪🏾
