How many travel iron cases does one really need??? For me, more than one! I was making a step out version for this class next Saturday at the Grace Company in West Jordan and now I’m totally in love with this darling bird!!! I paper pieced the top using bird pattern… and it goes perfectly with my Tula Pink fabric that’s been waiting for the perfect project! So dang cute!!! If you aren’t busy next Saturday… come join us for the class, or just the Open Sew! We still have some spots open. Great way to start a holiday weekend!!

Took a class with some of my besties by the one and only Jennifer Harrison at the Quilted Beehive! She is an amazing instructor and I learned some valuable tips from her! Fun way to end Utah Shop Hop… and this is my finished block, minus a tiny bit of fabric because I kept sewing thinking I had just a bit more, but ended up being short. Anyone else do that?? 😜

I finally did it!! I’ve run the retreat for 6 years now… and been hauling the cutting mats and rulers in the same awkward,
heavy box. Well… no more! Found this fun upholstery fabric at Hobby Lobby on clearance and it spoke to me! Three big bags for all the cutting mats and One zipper bag for all the rulers. This will make storage and carting them to Vernal super easy…. And they look cute as well. 😜

Postcards!!! I made some to send out and I’ve received some! They make me so happy!!! It takes me back to Port Vernal… and the beautiful time we had there!!! I miss it so much. Especially since winter showed up this week for a bit. My tulips are so sad…. But I’m just grateful…. Grateful we had clear weather for the retreat… and grateful to get some much needed water!!

The video is finally finished!! Come see what we are all raving about!
Thank you to everyone who downloaded pictures for us to use. We had so much dang fun... as I was going through all the pictures, it made me want to be back in Vernal with all of our friends! Enjoy reliving it with us!! Can't wait to do it again... and again.... and AGAIN!!
