Sew excited that Melissa Corry is coming to teach 3 amazing classes next March at Sew Simply Stitched in Vernal! She will also be inspiring us with a trunk show. Can't wait to see all she has created over her quilting journey!
Her classes are Alhambra (curves and lattice work), Sweater Weather (shown in blues) and Primrose & Proper (beautiful pieced flowers). Can't wait to learn from her and get inspired to make some beautiful quilts!!

Day 2 of retreat reveal!! This is our Quilted Barn Star class. In this class, you will learn how to create a one of a kind wood quilt block. Choose a pattern and paint colors for a 17 1/2" square that can be hung in your favorite spot to enjoy forever! I'm so excited because my cute hubby is going to help teach this class. We have painted hundreds of these babies... and each one is just slightly different than the one before. Come join us March 26, 2027 in Vernal! It will be here before you know it!

For our first retreat reveal... These are our darling shirts for Vernal, 2027! The event shirt is a beautiful burgundy with ivory printing and everyone who comes to the retreat gets one.
The additional shirts that can be ordered are the "Quilter" sweatshirt in ivory with black printing and the "Material Girl" in a heathered black with pink printing. So excited for these shirts... they are going to be so fun to wear around... everywhere!!

It’s been a busy… fun weekend!!! Update to the website is live!! There is a few bits of info we are waiting for and maybe a few mistakes (if you find one email [email protected])
We did a 2-day UFO retreat at the Grace company… and my bucket is filled! I may or may not have added to my list of projects… but I also got a few checked off. So did a bunch of others. Here’s a few finishes… I should have been better at taking pictures, but I was trying to be in the moment. 😉
The one and only amerooniedesigns came with her fun stash to inspire us and we got to witness firsthand her amazing creative mind while she made up a new project… that we now all have to make!! I’ll let her share the details. ❤️❤️ We even took a sneak peek at all the classes for March 2027! It was fun to sew, laugh, snack on yummy treats, see everyone’s fun projects, get inspired to create more, shop, and just be with some of my favorite people. It was a fabulous weekend!!!

Let me know what you think about the classes, theme, and the new shirts for 2027…. We will be sharing things about the retreat every day here on social media leading up to registration. Already getting so excited!!!

We went and did a little shopping this weekend... does not dissapoint and I always can find something new I never knew I needed when there! Rita and Ginny are two of my favs! They are my kind of ladies!!
Look at this darling new fabric from QT fabrics... called "12 days of Christmas" These darling birds were singing my tune as soon as I saw them! And... I had to have this pattern by Glenda Wilder Designs. Will I make them together?? Maybe... unless I see something else I have to have ;)

I just need to brag a little... and definately not about myself!

This darling group of friends/sister-in-laws all got together and decided to make themselves each a quilt. Only one of them had some sewing experience... and they watched some You-tube videos... and helped each other navigate making these quilts. I was giddy when they reached out to see if I would quilt and bind them. I got them finished last weekend and they dropped by to grab them. They were so darling... and so excited to go home and wash them so they could use them right away. Their excitement was energizing and now I want to make a flag quilt!! I love that each had their own personality in their backgrounds and backing. This is why I love quilting!! I told them anytime they are getting together to quilt to see if I'm around and I will come join them and help them with their next project. I think they are hooked for sure!! Welcome to the quilting family ladies!!! This was just the sweetest!!

Come say hi at the Grace Company today! They are celebrating 40 years and we are so grateful for their support at the retreat each year. They have fun giveaways… their store is stocked full and it will be a fun day. I’ll be here from 11-2 and I’d love to see you!
