Excited to announce that Jihye Jang Wins Venice Opera Competition in New York City!

New York, NY — February 3, 2026 — Soprano Jihye Jang has been named the winner of the Venice Opera Competition, held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Opera America in New York City. Fifteen finalists advanced to the final round of the competition, presenting operatic arias before a professional panel of judges. Jang was selected as the top finalist and awarded the $1,000 First Prize for her outstanding artistry.
