-eCsiLe- Inspired by a desire to pursue Jesus as passionately as He pursues me. Co-host of The WAR ROOM! What exactly does that mean? Praise Jesus!

eCsiLe is a musical artist with a love for lyricism and musical expression. After releasing his first solo album in 2011, and working on a project with his fellow AnchorMEN, he began work on a sophomore effort entitled "Painful Inhabitance." Before the project was released, eCsiLe largely disappeared from music. After a long arduous journey and what felt like 40 years in the wilderness, he is back. Only time will tell what God has in store for his music... but it's in the right hands.

Who noticed the Easter egg in my music video for Bizministry 2?

Don’t allow how bad you used to be become your entire testimony.

Is it just me or do Hip-Hop fans now seem to gravitate toward less lyrical content with more simplistic flows?

I understand there’s a natural progression within anything we consume. It just feels like I see some people blowing up in CHH who sound like they came out of the 80’s & dubbed a 35 year old rhyme scheme over a new instrumental. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think the point I was making in my last post got a little lost in my wordiness & the subsequent discussion…

We are either seeking His glory OR our own. Many are truly seeking their own. We ALL need to be cautious we don’t slip into the same trap. Period.

Blessings!

I wanna be used to spark important dialogue in CHH… Let’s break down our cultural obsession with celebrity. Is it consistent with what scripture tells us to do?

Is labeling ourselves “Christian” rappers or singers or anything else even achieving the purpose God created us for?

Can being a Christian or ministering truly be an occupation or career?

Let’s have some healthy & respectful dialogue about these things because regardless of where you fall at the moment, they’re critical conversations for believers to have.

Jesus said things that He knew wouldn't be popular. Things people didn't necessarily wanna hear because it challenged the status quo of this world.

I'm not Jesus but I want to follow Him. That means being willing to say things that will make certain people uncomfortable. It also means learning to be content with whatever audience He provides and accept that consistently telling truth means sometimes losing supporters & influence.

It also means putting the Gospel above our own ambitions of rap superstardom. Christian celebrity isn't it friends.

If you wanna take this journey with us you can tune into Youtube in about 25 minutes to catch the premiere of "Bizministry 2" featuring my brother Prophetiq Musiq...

What if we’re doing Christian rap all wrong? Everything in our cult...

What are we really doing out here with this music? So many of us say we’re doing it ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD but our actions often indicate our goals are identical to those of worldly artists.

Christ said a man can’t serve two masters. Which one are we serving?
