What's moving!?

In a step towards Journey's goal to "find a home" (a permanent space to house all our programming), we have decided not to extend our lease on our current warehouse space, which would have locked us into 5 more years at that location and subjected us to unknown rate increases during that time. Instead, we are opting for a more flexible, temporary setup which includes a smaller warehouse in east Vancouver, 2 shipping containers at Summit View Church, a pair of barns owned by Journey families, and a large room for costumes at Crosspoint Baptist Church. While more "scattered" in the short term, this approach affords us the flexibility to react quickly when the right real estate opportunity comes about. It also improves upon our overall square footage and guarantees us fixed rates for at least 2 years.

With that context, we would love all the help we can get before the end of the year (we have to be out by 12/31).

DRAGON!!! Did you know that our Dragon puppet was created during the summer of 2014 for our first production of Shrek the Musical? Long-time Journey dad and engineer, Stewart Low not only built Dragon, but also created Pinocchio’s mechanical nose!

A huge thank you to Stewart & to each parent who helps to bring our shows to the stage! We could not do what we do without you!!!
