Join the Rotary Club of Vancouver for the Community Tree Lighting Ceremony at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, at Esther Short Park. Enjoy entertainment, live music, carriage rides, and holiday treats for the whole family. The man in red and his elves help us make merry as thousands of twinkling lights come alive to celebrate the season at 6 p.m. The tree will glow through to New Year’s Day with the kind help from community sponsors for all to enjoy.

Join us this evening virtually for this year's community tree lighting celebration, with special musical guest, David Cooley.

The Esther Short Park community tree will glow throughout the holiday season in downtown Vancouver. Concern about community health and Covid-19 have cancelled many community events including the annual Rotary Community Tree Lighting ceremony. However, the downtown will be aglow 24 hours per day with thousands of lights hung on a new tree for all to stroll or drive by throughout the holiday season through New Year’s Day January 1st.

The Rotary Club of Vancouver will again light the Christmas tree at Esther Short Park from Thanksgiving Day to New Year’s Day.

While Santa won’t be able to join us this year nor Anna and Elsa due to Covid-19, we do want everyone to ring in the holidays with festive lights and certainly good cheer.

We hope everyone stays safe this holiday season and when your family might have time please come see the bright lights, socially distanced of course. ☃️
