This is the first time I’ve tried using spatulas on a mural, I loved how it turned out! Definitely won’t be my last. Same with the spray paint.

“Tiny” painting of Mt Hood, 10” x 8” oil on wood panel. This piece is available for purchase. I put quotes on tiny because this painting is not really that tiny, but it is compared to the size that I usually work on.

Since I’ve been posting part of my cactus mini series, here’s a to that time I painted this huge piece. It was a commission for a home in El Paso, TX. I absolutely loved how this turned out, and I have to tell ya, this photo doesn’t do it justice! 🌵
I put the location in Seattle because I was still living there when I finished this painting. This photo was taken by my cousin outside my Capitol Hill studio. 📍

Mt Rainier/Tahoma. To my Washington friends, since we may not be able to see this majestic mountain for a while, here’s the painting I did for you to enjoy, lol. The picture I used as reference for this painting is by amazing photographer.

They’re a match but they don’t necessarily have to go together, I created these for the first art show in Seattle. I really enjoyed working on the first layers with acrylics before continuing to oils and palette knives. These two good looking lions are available for purchase.

The art show was a success. I had the opportunity to meet fellow local artists, art enthusiasts, and even greet a couple of familiar faces from the art show in Seattle. Very special thanks to a new art collector who purchased two of my pieces (including the wolf I was painting live!) your support means the world to me. Thank you for making these events posible.
