💛 A little joy is on its way to the PICU at OHSU. 💛
These rocks are headed to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where some incredibly strong little fighters are facing things no child should ever have to face.
My daughter-in-law, Isabel, is a caring and compassionate pediatric nurse in the PICCU. She helps find the child who could use a little extra encouragement on a difficult day. Sometimes it’s a child who needs a smile, a reminder that someone is thinking about them, or simply a little something that belongs just to them.
Every child there deserves a little joy. Every child deserves to know they are seen, loved, and never alone. 🩷
It means so much to me that these little painted rocks can bring even a tiny moment of happiness to children and families going through such a difficult time.
Thank you, Isabel, for the kindness, compassion, and care you give to these little fighters and their families. Sending these rocks with lots of love, hope, and happy thoughts to all of the children at OHSU. There are plenty more to come! 💞
