Several weeks ago, I was at a craft market at and purchased some pottery from that was absolutely stunning. I off handedly mentioned that I used to be a potter and sculptor, and one thing led to another, and they so graciously offered me this kiln (huge thank you!). So we went and picked it up this past weekend. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean it was, and it really just needs new elements. I don't have a wheel yet (soon....), but I have some awesome hand building ideas that will be shaping up soon once I have my space organized.

It's been a minute since I've posted. You probably noticed a recent change to the logo and profile name. :) Here's what's going on:

For the last couple of years, I've been really busy with outside projects so I had to put down the soapmaking to focus on those projects. But now I'm looking at ramping things back up the first of the year.

I'll get back to making soap, but will include a regular everyday line along with the more creative soap. In addition, I'm going to be expanding into other products including pottery and fiber arts. Stay tuned!

It's been much too long since I posted, and I apologize. I've been frantically trying to get my house done, which takes up all of my time since we're now doing all the work ourselves.

It's a reminder, though, that I still have soaps available! I may not have made much this year, but I've got plenty for stocking stuffers! The plan is to get my studio back together at home so I can start making again. Lots of ideas rolling around in my brain.

M.A.S.S. Revolution is doing a drive for non-food essential items to distribute at the December 5th Food is Free Bay Area distribution event at the Solano County Fairgrounds.

Please gather up any warm clothes, jackets, shoes, new socks and personal care items, household and kitchen items and children's items for the holidays. Please pass along and ask your friends and family if they would also be willing to donate.

FIFBA is currently serving 500+ families PER DISTRIBUTION. We do not need to have enough for that many people, however, it goes to show how many are in need right now. If you can spare even one sweatshirt, it would help.

You can reach out to [email protected] to coordinate dropping off or picking up of items that you want to donate.

I've been promising to show this soap for too long. I was finally able to get around to it, and it's now also available on the website! Cheaper than a Monstera Albo. Scented in a lovely unisex scent that's a complex mix of woods and herbs.

The number of people that have asked about this one, I suspect it won't be around long.
