They called her the goddess of love.
But they should have looked deeper into her eyes.
Freyja was desire and heartbreak, beauty and battle, magic and death. She rode with powerful cats, practiced seiðr, and claimed half of the honored fallen for her own hall.
She could love fiercely without becoming weak.
She could grieve deeply without surrendering her power.
Freyja reminds us that softness and strength were never opposites.
Some fires warm the soul.
Others reveal what it is made of.
And perhaps Freyja’s greatest lesson is this:
The power you admire in her may already be waiting inside you.
What part of Freyja’s power do you recognize within yourself?
