Hello tea lovers! It’s been awhile and I feel as though I owe an explanation for where I’ve been.
I moved to Flagstaff about a year and a half ago, right after I had lost someone I was extremely close with and loved very much. Very shortly after moving, I started Callaway Tea. It quickly became an outlet for me to process my deep grief and hopefully offer others the comfort that I so desperately needed during that time. I had no expectations and no plan. To my surprise, Callaway Tea quickly started to grow thanks to the beautiful support of the Flagstaff community. As it’s been over a year since I’ve started this journey, I recently realized I may have been distracting myself too much with my business and not fully allowing myself the space and time to heal. That’s what I’m doing now! As of now, I will be taking a temporary break from Callaway Tea while I focus on just being Callaway.
To start, I have moved out of Flagstaff and returned to the Colorado mountains where I grew up. Moving out of Flag was not an easy decision but returning to a sense of “home” has felt really right. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the Flagstaff community for welcoming me with open arms and supporting me. It is truly one of the most special places I have been lucky enough to live in and it was exactly where I needed to be during the time I was there. 🤍
This is certainly not the end of Callaway Tea. I will be opening up shipping again soon and I will be working on settling my business into Colorado, so please look out for that and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Again, I have the upmost gratitude to anyone who has shown me support through this journey and hope you continue to through these next chapters.
