Nashville is glorious in the morning light. We are mowed by the ghost, ballet statue, just across from the foot of Broadway Street. I am on a walking bridge that connects the Tennessee Titans Nissan stadium to the neighborhood with Schermerhorn Symphony Hall, Bridgestone Arena, and the country music Hall of Fame. The Cumberland river is gorgeous here. If you haven’t visited Nashville yet, you should really consider planning a trip. On American Cruise Lines this is called the Music cities Cruise.

I will be performing A Visit From Will Dilg at the history center in Winona on May 8. This inspiring story gives us hope, because if Americans could unite and accomplish this great feat 100 years ago, we can unite and get our country back on track again today.

I spent the last three days with an amazing group of people that care for the Mississippi River with the same dedication that I do. I am happy to be a member of 1 Mississippi. We had a great time around the campfire at Raspberry Island in St Paul last night. Tonight I’m on Bourbon Street getting ready for four weeks on the Lower Mississippi aboard the American Symphony.

Another show tonight at the fabulous Izaak Walton Lodge in Des Moines. The Iowa Waters summit all day and the Nature summit will be Wednesday and Thursday. I wish I could stay for the whole thing but I will be heading home in the morning for our Upper Mississippi River Ikes chapter meeting tomorrow night at 6.
